Selenite
Selenite is a crystal gemstone deriving from the mineral gypsum. The name "selenite" means "stone of the moon." It was named in honor of Selene, the mythological Greek goddess of the moon. The mineral selenite is innate to many regions across the globe - including Greece, Japan, and the United States.
